City, state and community leaders gathered to celebrate the topping out of the E-Space North American headquarters and airport development project on Friday, Oct. 23, 2026.

The project includes a 480,000 sq. ft. manufacturing and office facility, parking, airport access road, aircraft apron and 33,450 sq. ft. hangar for the global telecommunications and satellite manufacturing company.

“E-Space has been a catalyst for other like-minded industries to develop here around the airport,” said Arlington Mayor Jim Ross.

“What we are doing here today isn’t just great for those of us who live in the city right now, but for future generations who are truly going to reap the benefit of this type of industry being here in Arlington,” he said.

The Arlington Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is developing and will own industrial real estate assets, creating community wealth through leasing factory and corporate office space for E-Space’s North American headquarters. The airport access road will add increased connectivity to newly opened Dr. Martin Luther King Drive extension, implementing key public infrastructure to maximize potential economic impact.

In addition to positioning Arlington as a hub for aerospace research and development, the project will create over 2,000 high-wage, high-tech jobs generating $8 billion in salaries and $27 million in net benefits for the City, Tarrant County and AISD over 30 years.

The project is estimated to be completed in summer 2027.
