Arlington, Texas, will honor the nation’s heroes at the third annual Texas Veterans Day Parade, starting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026, in the heart of the Arlington Entertainment District, honoring the courage, service, and sacrifice of America’s veterans and active-duty military.
The parade will begin with a Bell Helicopter flyover and showcase a dynamic procession of military units, veterans’ organizations, ceremonial teams and community groups.
This year’s Grand Marshal will be retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant General John Campbell, who retired in 2003 after a 32-year career serving around the world as a fighter pilot and commander. He served as commander of the 31st Fighter Wing, Aviano Air Base Italy and the 325th Fighter Wing, Tyndall AFB FL; and later as the Deputy Director of Operations, Joint Staff, the Pentagon; Commander, Joint Task Force – Computer Network Defense; and Associate Director of Central Intelligence, Central Intelligence Agency.
“This is our third year producing the parade, and we’re proud to see it becoming a signature Arlington tradition,” said Parade Coordinator Kevin Donovan. “It’s a powerful moment for our community to come together, honor those who’ve served, and reflect on the values that unite us.”
The 2026 Texas Veterans Day Parade is presented by the City of Arlington, Bell Helicopter, Texas Rangers, Rev Entertainment, Walmart, Six Flags, In-Telecom, and NBC 5/Telemundo. The event also partners with Toys for Tots. Spectators are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to be collected by Marines along the parade route.
Additional highlights of this year’s celebration include:
- A patriotic drone show immediately following the parade
- A veteran services area offering free resources and support for veterans and their families.
- A military vehicle showcase, providing hands-on exploration for attendees of all ages.
The Texas Veterans Day Parade is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the festivities and secure optimal viewing locations.
