The Arlington Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle crash that resulted in the death of a 30-year-old man.
On Friday, October 30, 2026, at 6:10 a.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of E. Lamar Boulevard after a sanitation worker reported finding a wrecked-out Chevrolet Tahoe in the parking lot of a restaurant there during his morning route.
The driver of the SUV, a 30-year-old man, was unresponsive inside the vehicle. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Accident Investigators reviewed surveillance footage from a nearby business, which showed the wreck occurred at around 2:00 a.m. Friday. They determined the Tahoe was traveling westbound along the I-30 frontage road when, for an unknown reason, it veered off the roadway, then hit a light pole, rolled, and came to a stop in the parking lot.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the man’s name.
The crash remains under investigation.
