Don't Miss These October Dates at the Levitt
Published on October 06, 2026
Nothing says fall in Arlington like a crisp autumn evening on the lawn at the Levitt Pavilion! With cooler temperatures at last arriving in North Texas, it's the perfect time to grab a lawn chair and head downtown for free live music. The Levitt’s October calendar has something for just about every taste, from Latin rhythms and Texas country to classic rock and pop, plus a star-studded season finale and spooky Shakespeare over Halloween weekend.
October highlights
Fri., Oct. 9 – Gary P. Nunn: The Levitt welcomes back the fan favorite and “cosmic cowboy” icon, best known for his Austin City Limits anthem, "London Homesick Blues" ("Home with the Armadillo"). Nashville-based Americana duo Goldpine opens the show.
Fri., Oct. 16 – Los Texmaniacs: Grammy-winning conjunto favorites Los Texmaniacs bring their irresistible blend of Texas roots and rock 'n' roll to the Levitt, with Conjunto Baraja de Oro opening the evening.
Sat., Oct. 17 – In Halen: Gen X kids, this one's for you! Break out your best air guitar when In Halen brings the music of arena rock legends Van Halen to the Levitt. Local acoustic trio CB&J opens the show. Big hair and spandex optional.
Sat., Oct. 24 – Do Good Fest Texas: The Levitt closes its 2026 concert season with a star-studded charity concert presented by National Life Group, featuring Barenaked Ladies and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb. Tickets are just $20, with all proceeds benefiting Tarrant Area Food Bank's Ready to Learn program. Get yours soon at https://dogoodfest.com/admissiontx.
Speaking of having fun while doing good: The Levitt also hosts the annual Men Serving God BBQ on Tues., Oct. 20, featuring a free dinner and information about local volunteer opportunities, and the Walk to End Colon Cancer on Sat., Nov. 7.
Oct. 29-31 – Macbeth: Ambition, betrayal and supernatural intrigue in Founders Plaza? Methinks Shakespeare LIVE! must be bringing Macbeth to the Levitt over Halloween weekend. Free performances of the Bard's classic tragedy will be accompanied by a Renaissance festival on Halloween afternoon, so don thy finest costume and join the revelry.
Know before you go
With the exception of Do Good Fest, most Levitt concerts and events are free. Bring lawn chairs or blankets, arrive early and enjoy tasty food and beverages from the Levitt food truck fleet.
The Levitt is located at 100 W. Abram St., across from Arlington City Hall, with free parking in City of Arlington and other public lots throughout downtown. Although there’s no such thing as a bad seat on the lawn, early arrival for events with higher-profile artists is recommended.
