National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation to Commemorate Memorial Day

The National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation will observe Memorial Day with displays of unity and community across the Museum grounds and galleries. From Friday, May 22 through Monday, May 25, the Museum becomes a place to share time, memories, and moments with loved ones in Arlington, TX.
As a memorial tribute, hundreds of flags will stand in quiet formation on the Museum’s lawn—each representing a life given in service to our country. The public is invited to add a name in memory of someone they wish to honor, place it among the flags, and contribute to a shared space of remembrance.
On the first floor of the Museum, the Fallen Comrade Table, also known as the “Missing Man Table,” will offer visitors a quiet moment to reflect on those who are missing and those who never returned. This tradition uses a simple setting—each element placed with intention—to symbolize absence, sacrifice, and remembrance
Up on the elevated exhibit deck, visitors will step into the stories of service and explore immersive exhibits that bring them closer to the moments faced by Medal of Honor Recipients. Powerful multimedia experiences and never-before-seen artifacts chronicle the lives and legacies of those who have received our country's highest award for valor in combat, connecting their experiences to the modern day.
While some activities are free to the public, visitors are encouraged to reserve Museum tickets in advance to secure preferred timing. Discounted admission is available for Veterans, with free entry for active-duty military.
