The Dallas Cowboys, Whataburger and Arlington ISD celebrated the 2025–2026 Dallas Cowboys/Arlington ISD Art Program on Wednesday, May 13, at AT&T Stadium. The annual reception recognized AISD 5th and 8th grade art students, along with graduating seniors and their families.

During the school year, more than 4,000 AISD art students participated in docent-led tours of the Dallas Cowboys Art Collection at AT&T Stadium. The collection features 98 works by 65 internationally recognized artists, including 20 site-specific commissions. Following their visit, students created original artwork inspired by the collection, which is later showcased throughout the year.

Each December, seniors who have completed the program are honored at AT&T Stadium, where their artwork is displayed and students receive a commemorative coin during an on-field recognition, where students personally receive a commemorative coin honoring their artistic journey from Mrs. Gene Jones.

Since its creation, the program has served more than 49,000 AISD students. Support from Whataburger has expanded student showcases, senior recognition, scholarships and teacher appreciation efforts.

This year’s guest judge is Brazilian artist Sandra Cinto, whose work Night of Hope is featured at AT&T Stadium. She has exhibited at major museums worldwide, including the Dallas Museum of Art and the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art.

Gene Jones and Charlotte Jones joined Arlington ISD leadership, City of Arlington officials and community partners at Wednesday’s reception, where student artwork was displayed gallery-style.
