Arlington community groups can bring the Innovate Arlington Comprehensive Plan team directly to them by hosting an Innovate Arlington Info Session in June. These sessions are designed to offer an easy way to stay informed about how the City and other stakeholders are planning for Arlington’s long‑term future.
These presentations will highlight how community input has shaped every step of the planning process so far, including the development of the Vision Elements, the Preferred Growth Scenario and the Place Types that illustrate potential future character across Arlington. These components emerged from community input during Phases I and II of the Innovate Arlington process, where residents shared what they value about Arlington as well as concerns related to traffic, safety and infrastructure.
Groups can choose an in‑person or virtual format, and staff will walk attendees through key updates, answer questions and share what’s ahead as the project moves into Phase III. Sign‑ups are open now through June 19, with opportunities to request meetings throughout the month of June, pending availability and concluding no later than 7 p.m.

Looking ahead, Phase III of Innovate Arlington will begin near the end of the summer and will focus on gathering feedback on the full comprehensive plan. Community members will have the opportunity to participate either in-person or virtually by reviewing the draft plan and providing input on the proposed recommendations.
