March 2026 Student-Athlete of the Month: Mark Ramos

Mark Ramos, a senior on Sam Houston High School’s baseball team, has been selected as the City of Arlington’s Student-Athlete of the Month for March 2026.

Ramos stands out both in the classroom and on the field. He ranks in the top four percent of his graduating class and earned First-Team All-District honors for his performance in baseball.

"He’s the first person to cheer someone on," said Elijah Perez, Sam Houston High School Head Baseball Coach. "Whether he’s doing good or bad, you couldn’t tell. He’s just a great teammate."

Ramos, whose favorite subject is math, plans to continue playing baseball in college while pursuing a degree in secondary education.
