The Arlington Police Department is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred in the 1200 block of Woodbrook St.
On Thursday, March 19, 2026, officers responded to a single motorcycle crash involving a motorcycle and a parked vehicle. When officers arrived, they located an adult male motorcyclist and his passenger, both of whom had been ejected from the motorcycle. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries and later succumbed to those injuries on Sunday, March 22, 2026. The passenger, who was wearing a helmet, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary investigation indicates the motorcycle was traveling westbound on Woodbrook St. when the operator attempted to avoid an animal in the roadway and lost control.
Investigators continue to examine the circumstances of this crash.
The identity of the deceased will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office once next of kin notification has been made.
