Discover New Technology at the Arlington Public Library's Tech Fair

The Arlington Public Library invites you to an engaging day of innovation and exploration at our APL Tech Fair, scheduled for 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library. This event is free and open to the public, with no registration required.
Our mission is to bridge the digital divide by providing access to cutting-edge technology for the community. During the event, we will showcase a variety of technological resources available at the library. The Makerspace will feature 3D printers and vinyl cutters, offering hands-on opportunities to learn and create. The Genealogy Department will present their digitization equipment, allowing you to preserve old photos and videos in digital format.
The Adult Education Department will provide information on digital literacy classes, ranging from social media basics to Microsoft Office proficiency. Families with children are invited to explore the world of robotics, where our children’s librarian will demonstrate how these technologies work and share details about upcoming robotics programs.
Additionally, representatives from other city departments will highlight the role of technology in the City of Arlington. technology in the City of Arlington. See how the Arlington Water Department employs advanced cameras to inspect the city’s water pipes. UTA ARDRC (Amphibian and Reptile Diversity Research Center), UTA School of Social Work, and the UTA Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice will also be in attendance.
Whether you are a technology enthusiast or simply curious, the APL Tech Fair offers an excellent opportunity to discover how technology is shaping our community.
