Family Storytime: Soccer

Kick off a love of reading at Family Storytime: Soccer on Friday, June 12 from 10:30–11:15 a.m. at the Southeast Branch Library. This special soccer-themed storytime features books, songs, rhymes, and movement activities designed to get young children excited about both reading and the soccer action coming to Arlington this summer. Perfect for ages 2–4, the program encourages little ones and their caregivers to learn, sing, and play together.

Family Storytime at River Legacy

Take a walk on the wild side at Family Story Time: Hiking on Friday, June 12 from 1:30–2:30 p.m. at River Legacy Nature Center. In partnership with the Arlington Public Library, this family-friendly program combines nature-themed stories with a guided outdoor walk, giving young explorers a chance to learn basic trail skills and discover the plants and wildlife of North Texas.

Designed for children and their families, the program offers a fun introduction to hiking while encouraging curiosity, outdoor exploration, and a love of reading. The easy, shaded trail is stroller-friendly and less than a mile long, making it perfect for little adventurers. RSVP Here.

Concerts at the Levitt

Tejano fans won’t want to miss this special night of music on Friday, June 12 from 7:10–10 p.m. at Levitt Pavilion Arlington. The evening begins with the Levitt Youth Spotlight presented by Texas Trust Credit Union, followed by rising Regional Mexican artist Saul Eduardo at 7:30 p.m. and Loca Pasion at 8:30 p.m., bringing the iconic hits of La Mafia’s golden era back to the stage.

Guests can also enjoy the Arlington Night Market hosted by Small Business Mercado beginning at 6 p.m., making it a full evening of live music, local vendors, and community fun. From heartfelt mariachi-inspired sounds to classic Tejano favorites, it’s a celebration of music and culture in the heart of downtown Arlington.

Yoga at Arlington Highlands

Start your Saturday with a stretch at Yoga at Arlington Highlands on Saturday, June 13 from 9–10 a.m. on The Lawn at Arlington Highlands. Led by Lynn Rozak of Sunshine Yoga Shack, this free community workout is part of the celebration leading up to lululemon’s grand opening at Arlington Highlands.

Registration is required to participate, and registered attendees will receive a complimentary goodie bag featuring special offers from Arlington Highlands retailers and restaurants, along with opportunities to win prizes and free products.

LEGO Challenge: Soccer Edition

Get ready to build, create, and score big at the LEGO Challenge: Soccer Edition on Wednesday, June 17 from 1–2 p.m. at the Northeast Branch Library. Young builders can tackle soccer-themed LEGO challenges or let their imaginations take the lead as they design their own creations. Designed for school-age children, this free, come-and-go program offers a fun way to combine creativity, problem-solving, and soccer-inspired excitement.
