The Arlington Community Band (ACB), an all-volunteer wind ensemble, will present a free concert celebrating the city’s 150th anniversary and the 250th anniversary of the United States at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 28 at Lamar Baptist Church.

ACB will team up with Arlington’s Goodtimes Chorus, a barbershop style community ensemble to perform familiar patriotic tunes. The concert also features A Texas Tribute, a narrated symphonic program showcasing Texas history and cultural references, composed by David Lovrien, saxophonist and staff arranger for the Dallas Winds.

This free concert is family-friendly and reservations are required. Reserve your free tickets on the Arlington Community Band website.

The “Stars, Stripes & Stories” concert project was proudly underwritten in part by the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation – Contributing to a Thriving Arlington. View all of Arlington’s 150th anniversary events at arlington150.com.
