Arlington Wins Six Statewide Communication Awards

Arlington’s Office of Communication was honored with six statewide awards at the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers Conference on June 4, 2026, in Austin.

The TAMI Awards recognize outstanding communication by Texas communities in a variety of categories including website, social media, video production and publications.

Arlington received accolades for the following communications projects:

  • City of Arlington Website Redesign, TAMI Award (first place)
  • Piecing it Together: FY 2026 Budget Video, TAMI Award
  • National Medal of Honor Dedication Video, TAMI Award
  • Piecing it Together Spanish Budget Campaign, TAMI Award
  • Piecing it Together Budget Campaign, Award of Excellence (second place)
  • Piecing it Together Shorts, Award of Honor (third place)

Judging is conducted by non-TAMIO members with expertise in communications and municipal government. This year’s awards program received more than 700 entries from municipalities across the state of Texas.
