Glow-in-the-Dark Dance & Skate Party
Glow into the end of summer at the Glow-in-the-Dark Dance & Skate Party on Thursday, July 30 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at Arlington Skatium. Dance under the lights, hit the skating rink, and enjoy glow-in-the-dark fun as the Arlington Public Library wraps up another Discover Summer season. This free, all-ages event includes inline skating on a first-come, first-served basis, with glow accessories available while supplies last.
Summer Music Series
Kick off the weekend with live music at the Summer Music Series on Friday, July 31 from 6–8 p.m. at Home Plate Restaurant at Texas Rangers Golf Club. This week's featured artist, Taylor Craig Mills, brings his signature blend of Texas country and Americana for an evening of great music, food, and drink specials. There is no cover charge, but advanced registration is encouraged by calling (817) 575-8299.
Fielder Talks
What happens when science fiction meets history? Find out at Fielder Talks on Sunday, Aug. 2 at 2 p.m. at the Fielder Museum. This free program explores Ray Bradbury's iconic short story There Will Come Soft Rains, examining its Cold War origins, surprising connections to today's technology, and what the historic Fielder House reveals about the lives we leave behind.
TRUTH Open Mic
Step into the spotlight at TRUTH Open Mic on Monday, Aug. 3 from 7–11 p.m. at Truth Vinyl. Whether you're a musician, poet, comedian, or just want to cheer on local talent, this free community open mic is a great way to experience Arlington's creative scene.
Trivia Night at J. Gilligan’s
Put your knowledge to the test at Trivia Night on Tuesday, Aug. 2 at 7 p.m. at J. Gilligan's Bar & Grill. Gather your team, grab a bite, and compete in a fun-filled evening of trivia covering a variety of topics. Whether you're playing for bragging rights or just a great night out, it's the perfect midweek challenge.
