Arlington Public Library to Host BTS-Themed Craft Night for Local Fans

Get your light sticks ready, Arlington ARMY! Whether you’ve been bleeding purple since 2013 or you just recently fell down the Bangtan rabbit hole, the Arlington Public Library is throwing the ultimate celebration just for you.

With the Bangtan Boys officially returning and concert anticipation building, it’s time to come together, meet fellow fans, and prep your fandom gear for your bias.

The Arlington Public Library's free BTS for Everyone event is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2026, in the Community Room of the Southeast Branch Library, 900 SE Green Oaks Blvd. Here is everything you need to know about this can't-miss, after-hours fan event.

The BTS Craft Lineup

The library has a fun lineup of DIY projects to help you show off your fandom pride. Activities are expected to include:

  • ARMY Light Stick Shaker Paper Crafts: A perfect, sparkly tribute to the iconic AmiBom.
  • Beaded Safety Pins & Sliding Knot Bracelets: Create wearable fandom art to stack or trade.
  • Photo Keychain Tag: Keep your favorite photo cards close wherever you go.
  • Mini Paint Canvases & Coloring Sheets: Channel your inner Jungkook and get creative.
  • Word Searches & Photo Ops: Snap some aesthetic memories with local ARMY.

A Sweet, Limited-Edition Treat

No BTS party is complete without snacks. Attendees can enjoy free brown sugar pancake-flavored BTS Oreos while supplies last!

Event Details and Important Info

  • Crafting supplies and cookies are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive on time.
  • Age Requirement: Open to ages 5 and up. (Some activities may require adult assistance for the younger fans).
  • Special Entry Instructions: Because this is a special after-hours event, the library doors will be locked to the general public. Don't worry, though—library staff will be stationed at the door to let attendees in!
