Arlington Invites Residents to Share Stories for 150th Anniversary

The City of Arlington launches an online project encouraging residents to share personal stories, favorite memories and meaningful moments that capture what the city has meant to them. Whether it’s a place tied to a special experience or a story that always brings a smile, officials say these contributions will help highlight the community spirit that has shaped Arlington for generations.

Residents can submit their stories through the Arlington Listens’ website. The storytelling effort celebrates Arlington’s past as well as the people who have shaped the community over the last 150 years. By collecting memories from residents across the city, the project aims to build a shared record of milestones, growth and connection that reflects Arlington’s history through the voices of those who know it best.

Arlington’s anniversary celebrations will continue throughout the year, and organizers say stories shared now will help shape how the city remembers its history for years to come.
