Annual Star Party at O.S. Gray Natural Area Set for Feb. 7, 2026

Look up and join the fun as we scan the night skies with astronomer friends from the Fort Worth Astronomical Society! Telescopes, stars, and stories await—plus a classic wiener roast and hot chocolate to keep things cozy.

The Star Party is a free, family friendly event is hosted annually by the Friends of O.S. Gray Natural Area. This year's event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026. The City of Arlington's O.S. Gray Natural Area is located at 2021 W. Abram St. The park’s parking lot will be closed during the event, so look for on-street parking or park at a nearby business, event organizers say.

The event welcomes people of all ages and is a great way to enjoy the park. Participants are encouraged to bring a blanket or a chair for seating.
