Congratulations to Medical City Arlington, which was recently recognized by Healthgrades as one of “America’s 100 Best Hospitals.”
MCA was among seven Texas hospitals included on the healthcare website’s rank list, published in late January.
Healthgrades based its rankings on Medicare data from more than 4,500 hospitals nationwide. The analysis evaluates outcomes for 31 conditions and procedures, from heart attacks to knee replacements, using claims from 2022 through 2024.
MCA has received several hospital quality awards from Healthgrades in recent years, including the America’s 250 Best Hospitals Award three times, Patient Safety Excellence Award three times, and an American’s 100 Best Hospitals for Spine Surgery Award.
In 2025, MCA celebrated the grand opening of its Specialty Surgery Patient Tower and OR expansion. The $144 million expansion included a new patient tower, four new specialty operating rooms, a modernized main entrance and expanded visitor lobby.
More than 127,000 square feet were added to the Medical City Arlington campus, including space for four new operating rooms and 60 additional beds – increasing the total hospital bed count to 496.
