West Main Arts Festival Returns to Downtown Arlington Sept. 19, 2026

The heart of Downtown Arlington will transform into a vibrant hub of creativity and culture on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, as Create Arlington's West Main Arts Festival returns for its highly anticipated 10th annual celebration of art, music and community. The free, family-friendly event will run from noon to 6 p.m. along the historic West Main Street corridor, just steps from City Hall and the George W. Hawkes Downtown Public Library.

Known as one of the largest and most eclectic arts festivals in Arlington, the West Main Arts Fest will offer 70+ artist booths, three live music stages, food trucks and craft vendors, interactive art zones and live art in action. Families, kids, and even pets are welcome — and attendees are encouraged to bring pets and lawn chairs to enjoy a full day of performances and activities. 

Since 2016, Create Arlington has said the West Main Arts Festival has welcomed more than 50,000 attendees and pumped more than $500,000 into the local economy, proving that "when Arlington comes together for the arts, magic happens."

Downtown Arlington, which is home to Theatre Arlington, Arlington Music Hall, Levitt Pavilion and many other artists, studios and venues, was designated a Cultural District by the State of Texas in 2016.
