Join us at the upcoming Neighborhood Leadership Network meeting to learn about the City of Arlington's proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Operating Budget, the water supply and the Innovate Arlington Comprehensive Plan.

This quarter’s meeting is set for 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026, in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 101 W. Abram St.

Bring your neighbors, enjoy a cup of coffee, meet other leaders, and walk away with the 4-1-1! 

Guest speakers:

  • City Manager Trey Yelverton will headline our neighbor gathering! Learn about the FY27 budget and the City’s priorities, as the new fiscal year kicks-off Oct. 1, 2026.

Proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Budget

  • Water is always on our minds, especially with the summer heat. Richard Everhart, Meter Services manager, will provide important insights on water demand and conserving our precious resource. You can also meet Splash, our canine superstar and water leak detection expert!

Water Conservation

  • Get the latest on Innovate Arlington, the important update to the City’s Comprehensive Plan. Long Range Planning Manager John Chapman will highlight proposed changes, after 18 months of visioning, community engagement, and analysis.

Street and ADA parking is available on South Center Street or at the West City Parking Lot on South Pecan and West Abram streets.  

The Neighborhood Leadership Network is a working group for neighborhood leaders across the City of Arlington to build relationships with other neighborhood leaders, learn best practices for a variety of neighborhood issues and develop a partnership with the City. The NLN meets quarterly and is a resource for strengthening neighborhood leaders and providing resources that will empower Arlington neighborhoods to achieve neighborhood and community goals.
