Levitt Pavilion Turns Up the Volume With Free Fall Concerts and More

Free live music returns to downtown over Labor Day weekend as the Levitt Pavilion opens its fall concert series Friday, Sept. 4.
The three-night kickoff features Americana group Blue Water Highway on Friday, country artist Shelby Stone on Saturday and Latin rock band Del Castillo on Sunday. The fall series, presented by Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital-Arlington, continues through Oct. 24 with concerts spanning country, Tejano, blues, jazz, and more.
Opening night also brings an opportunity to combine dinner, music and giving back through Meals with Meaning, presented by First Rate Investment Performance Group. The VIP family-style dining experience will feature a chef-driven menu prepared by Chef Levi Gardner of Margie’s Italian Garden, with proceeds supporting the fight against food insecurity.
Fall highlights begin with Stars, Stripes & Remembrance (Sept. 11), a 9/11 anniversary tribute featuring country artist Coffey Anderson, followed by Faith On Fire (Sept. 12), a praise and worship night headlined by contemporary Christian hitmaker Matthew West.
Fans can also turn back the clock with tributes to ABBA, Prince, Bob Seger and Van Halen (Sept. 26, Oct. 2 and Oct. 16) while Texas favorites and independent artists appearing throughout the fall include Jay Pérez, Gary P. Nunn, Los Texmaniacs, Blue Tongue, The Buffalo Ruckus and more.
The Fifth Annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration (Oct. 3) offers a group dance lesson from Salsa in the Gardens, live music headlined by Mike Gonzalez and the Iconiczz; and a vibrant street market featuring more than 70 food, shopping and other vendors.
The fall concert season goes out on a high note with Do Good Fest Texas (Oct 24), bringing an all-star lineup featuring multi-platinum rock favorites Barenaked Ladies and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb to the Levitt stage. Presented by National Life Group, the ticketed charity concert benefits Tarrant Area Food Bank’s Ready to Learn program, with all proceeds from $20 ticket sales supporting the cause. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early for the anticipated sellout show.
“We have so many opportunities this fall to hear music you already know and love, whether you’re reliving great memories of ABBA or Barenaked Ladies with friends or introducing your kids to songs you’ve been singing for years,” said Angela Peña, executive director of Levitt Pavilion Arlington. “But the Levitt is also a place to discover independent artists, explore different genres and hear music that may be new to you. The Blue Tongue show is a great example of a night that checks all those boxes. That mix of familiar favorites and new discoveries is part of what makes the Levitt experience so much fun.”
Levitt concerts are free (except for Do Good Fest). Food trucks are available each concert night, and vendor markets add to the experience on select dates. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and settle in for an evening of live music in the heart of the city.
Looking past the fall lineup, the Levitt is also moving forward with nearly $2.3 million in sound, visual and security infrastructure improvements designed to elevate the concert experience for the next generation. Work will accelerate in January and is expected to be completed in time for the venue’s 20th anniversary season in 2027.
Tips for rockin’ the Levitt:
- The Levitt is located at 100 W. Abram St., across from Arlington City Hall.
- Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Seating is first-come, first-served.
- Free parking is available in City of Arlington and Downtown Arlington public lots. Avoid private lots, which may enforce towing.
- Food trucks, beer and wine are available on-site. Sealed water bottles are permitted, but glass containers are not.
- Check the Levitt’s social media channels for weather updates and event information.
