The Arlington Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle fatality crash that occurred Tuesday evening, resulting in the death of a 46-year-old man.
On September 16, 2025, at approximately 7:34 p.m., officers were dispatched to the westbound lanes of I-30 near Fielder Road in response to an overturned flatbed truck. Investigators determined the truck veered off the highway, struck a light pole, then hit guardrail, causing the truck to roll down a hill and land on its roof. The 46-year-old man, who was the driver of the truck, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved and no additional injuries were reported.
Investigators believe the driver fell asleep behind the wheel. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the deceased.
