The Arlington Police Department is investigating a fatality crash that occurred early Friday morning along State Highway 360, resulting in the death of a 20-year-old woman.
On September 5, 2025, at approximately 4:46 a.m., officers were dispatched to the southbound lanes of Hwy 360 near the I-30 interchange in response to a single-vehicle wreck. When they arrived on scene, they located a Chevrolet Malibu that had collided with metal guardrail separating the main highway lanes from the exit lanes.
The driver of the Malibu, a 19-year-old man, was transported to an area hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The 20-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the car, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators believe the driver was traveling southbound along Hwy 360 and swerved quickly in an attempt to get over to the I-30 exit ramp, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and crash into the guardrail.
The investigation is ongoing. Speed has not been ruled out as a possible factor.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the deceased.
