Game of Thrones: The Exhibition
Fans of HBO’s epic fantasy series Game of Thrones are invited to journey into the world of Westeros like never before. Game of Thrones™: The Exhibition, runs until Sunday, April 5, 2026, showcasing an immersive collection of original costumes worn by the iconic characters, props from the show, and a behind-the-scenes look at the development of the groundbreaking series. Little Explorers – Downtown Library
Stop by The Children’s Play Room at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library on 10 a.m. Fridays for a morning of play-based learning. This come-and-go program will vary week-to-week as librarians explore art, math, science, engineering, and fine motor skills. Family Storytime – Southeast Branch Library
Join the Arlington Public Library’s fabulous library staff to sing, read and wiggle during storytime at the Southeast Branch Library 10:30 a.m. Fridays. This storytime is geared for ages 2-5. They will read books, sing songs, and have an activity after the program each week. Candy Crawl
Get ready for a spook-tacular evening of family fun at the Arlington Highlands’ Candy Crawl 4-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2025. Dress up in your favorite costume and trick-or-treat your way through the center, stopping by participating shops for delicious candy and special surprises. Enjoy the festive atmosphere, snap some fall photos, and make unforgettable Halloween memories with your little ghosts and goblins. Bring your friends, family, and plenty of Halloween spirit — it’s going to be a frightfully good time! There will be trick-or-treating at participating stores. Costumes are encouraged for all ages. This is a free community event.
The World of Pumpkin Nights
Started in the patch, and now we're here. Born from a passion for local artistry and the ethereal magic of the season, Howell Family Farms mission sidestepped the usual gore and scares of Halloween, choosing instead to embrace the warmth and wonder of fall. At Pumpkin Nights, you'll journey through a half-mile trail dotted with the Forbidden City, a Pirate’s Cove, and other lands, all illuminated by over 7,500 meticulously hand-carved real and artificial pumpkins. But the magic doesn't end there; at The Village, where fall food, fire dancing, and games set the mood for an unforgettable night. Prices vary depending on if it's a weeknight or a weekend. Tickets must be purchased online. You can also choose your time. Pumpkin Nights run from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 31, 2025. Parking is $10.00. Cash or card is accepted. For their team to safely park all guests on busy evenings, parking lines may last up to 30 minutes. Please plan accordingly.
Hot Ghoul Halloween: Rage to the Grave
Head to Texas Live! for Hot Ghoul Halloween: Rage to the Grave with doors opening up at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2025. Get ready for a spook-tacular Halloween night featuring DJs, games, and a $5,000 costume contest (split between solo and group categories). Grab a Drink Package for three drink tokens and all-night specials—optional and not required to enter the costume contest.
Hoolieween Party
Get ready for a spooktacular night at the Hoolieween Party at Hooligan's Pub starting at 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2025! Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place costumes—so bring your best look!
A Cosplay Halloween Party
A cosplay party on Halloween hosted by the incomparable Nina Bytes at Tokyo Station starting 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2025. An anime dance party with music programming by the award-winning Free Play party team! Special games, challenges, and prizes all night long! Theme drinks from a bar that has won "Best in Arlington" a record five times! A cosplay parade to rival any and all cosplay parades! Free Teacher Admission at the National Medal of Honor Museum

Downtown Arlington Farmers Market
The Downtown Arlington Farmers Market runs every Saturday through November from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot at the corner of Front and Center Streets. The market will feature fresh, locally-source produce, unique artisan goods and community connection.
Indie Author Book Festival
Celebrate local creativity at the third annual Indie Author Book Festival 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library’s [re]Brary Room A & B. It will feature over 30 talented writers, engaging workshops, book-themed activities, free giveaways, and a vibrant author alley. Discover new voices, connect with fellow book lovers, and enjoy the festivities—no registration required.
KUTUB: Arabic Book Club
The Arabic Book Club “Kutub” meets on the first Saturday of the month from 1-4 p.m., at the at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library’s Excellence Room. Members will discuss novels, short stories, poetry, non-fiction, music, feature films or documentaries that explore Arabic culture. Read and discuss what you’ve read. Exploring new cultures, values, and practices is what makes us better human beings as any culture has things to teach us, regardless of differences. Open for adults and seniors. No registration required.
Dia de los Muertos Celebration
Join for a meaningful and festive Día de los Muertos celebration 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at the UTA Wesley, to honor and remember loved ones. They will have a beautifully decorated community altar (ofrenda) where guests are welcome to bring photos of their loved ones to add and share in remembrance. Enjoy free food, including delicious tamales, traditional desserts, and more. There will be fun and engaging activities for all ages, including a Catrina and Catrín contest, traditional music and dance performances, and much more. This is a free, family friendly event open to everyone, so bring your memories, your spirit, and your love for culture as we celebrate life and the ones who came before us.
