UTA Volleyball Student Appreciation Night

The World of Pumpkin Nights

Started in the patch, and now we're here. Born from a passion for local artistry and the ethereal magic of the season, Howell Family Farms mission sidestepped the usual gore and scares of Halloween, choosing instead to embrace the warmth and wonder of fall. At Pumpkin Nights, you'll journey through a half-mile trail dotted with the Forbidden City, a Pirate’s Cove, and other lands, all illuminated by over 7,500 meticulously hand-carved real and artificial pumpkins. But the magic doesn't end there; at The Village, where fall food, fire dancing, and games set the mood for an unforgettable night. Prices vary depending on if it's a weeknight or a weekend. Tickets must be purchased online. You can also choose your time. Pumpkin Nights run from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 31, 2025. Parking is $10.00. Cash or card is accepted. For their team to safely park all guests on busy evenings, parking lines may last up to 30 minutes. Please plan accordingly.

Little Explorers – Downtown Library

Stop by The Children’s Play Room at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library on 10 a.m. Fridays for a morning of play-based learning.  This come-and-go program will vary week-to-week as librarians explore art, math, science, engineering, and fine motor skills. Join the Arlington Public Library for a playfully discover the world around us! Designed for ages 1-4. Family Storytime – Southeast Branch Library

Join the Arlington Public Library’s fabulous library staff to sing, read and wiggle during storytime at the Southeast Branch Library 10:30 a.m. Fridays. This storytime is geared for ages 2-5. They will read books, sing songs, and have an activity after the program each week. CS4Kids

CS stands for Computer Science!  This is hands- introduction to computer science is for kids ages 9-12. Come join friends from Frontier STEM Academy as they teach an eight-week course with hands-on sessions where students are able to get inside the desktop and learn components like CPU, GPU, and RAM.  Work with your classmates to build a computer at the end of the course. The last course takes place 4:30-5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2025. Trail or Treat

Put on your costumes and join the annual Trail or Treat event at Bob Cooke Park 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2025! Families are invited to enjoy a safe and festive trick-or-treat experience along the decorated trail filled with fun, candy, and Halloween spirit. It's a perfect way to celebrate the fall season together! This event is free to attend and open to all ages. 

Art After Dark: Halloween

Explore your creative side in this after hours artsy program for adults 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, at the Northeast Branch Community Room. In this Halloween edition, participate in a variety of spooky crafts including creating your own spell book, DIY pumpkin spice sugar scrub, ghost rocks, and more. No registration required.

Spooktober Family Carnival

Celebrate the spooky season with friends and family at the Southwest Branch of the Arlington Public Library 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2025! Enjoy a spook-tacular storytime and dress up in your best costume to wow others during the Costume Contest in the individual and family categories. There will be plenty of music, crafts, activities, and opportunities to fill your arms with sweet treats! The storytime will start at 6:00pm and the winner of the door prize will be announced at 7:00 p.m. The Costume Contest will be split into categories by age, with one designated for families with group costumes. Early Learning & School Age will be at 6:15 p.m. Family will be at 6:30 p,m. Tween & Teen will be at 6:45 p.m. Participants may enter both as an individual in their age range and with family in the Family category. Prizes awarded will be age appropriate for each category. 

Costume Guidelines

  • No weapons of any kind may be part of the costume. This includes foam swords and plastic throwing stars.
  • At no point during the event will APL assume responsibility for costume components. Costume props and accessories are the responsibility of the wearer and their adult.
  • Costume components may not impede the flow of event traffic or another patron's experience at the event. (e.g., large wings, trailing capes)
  • Any patron wearing a costume that displays hateful or discriminatory language will not be eligible for a prize.

The 3rd annual Haunted House event takes place in and outside The Chosen One Ink 8:30 p.m. to midnight Friday, Oct. 24, Saturday, Oct. 25, and Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025. Live actors, animatronics, piercing specials and free candy for the gools and goblins! Children are welcome with an adult! Come join for a fun and safe time. Lake Arlington Garden Activity Day

Arlington Water Utilities and Tarrant Regional Water District are working with local conservation stakeholders and community groups to restore native prairie and wildflowers to 2.75 acres of land adjacent to the Lake Arlington Dam 8-10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025. This gated area at 5500 Lake Arlington Drive also features demonstration garden beds with native plants.

2025 Dallas All Pro Dad Experience

Join All Pro Dad at AT&T Stadium for a Saturday morning you’ll never forget 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025! It starts when you and your child experience the thrill of stepping onto the field where the Dallas Cowboys play. The Downtown Arlington Farmers Market runs every Saturday through November from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot at the corner of Front and Center Streets. The market will feature fresh, locally-source produce, unique artisan goods and community connection.

Brunch & Yoga at Sanford House

Come enjoy an outdoor practice in the lush and green Grand Courtyard of the Sanford House Inn 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025. Silent Book Club

The book club with no assigned reading and no pressure! They meet once a month at local spots around Arlington & Grand Prairie to read, drink, and be in community with other bookworms. Creature Feature: the Virginia opossum

Head to River Legacy Nature Center 2-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, for this month’s Creature Features, as you get to know Peaches, our Virginian opossum and learn about its adaptations, behavior, lifestyle, natural history, etc. Visit River Legacy’s website for RSVP information.

3D Printing: Halloween

Learn the basics of the TinkerCAD software and then watch your design take shape before your eyes in the 3D printer. It takes place 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library’s Tinker Room. This class is limited to the first 8 in attendance and is appropriate for ages 9+. Children ages 9-12 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the class.

DFW Metro Out of the Darkness Walk

The 2025 DFW Metro Out of the Darkness Walk is a heartfelt event organized by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) North Texas Chapter to raise awareness about suicide prevention and mental health. Scheduled to start 4 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Levitt Pavilion Arlington, this walk brings together community members, friends, families, and supporters to honor those affected by suicide and to promote a culture of openness and support around mental health issues. There is no registration fee to attend a Community Walk but registration is required.

Toddler Halloween Party

Join a spooktacular Halloween bash perfect for your little goblins 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at The Beacon Recreation Center! This enchanting event invites toddlers and their parents to dive into the Halloween spirit with costumes galore.
