Fans of HBO’s epic fantasy series Game of Thrones are invited to journey into the world of Westeros like never before. Game of Thrones™: The Exhibition, runs until Sunday, April 5, 2026, showcasing an immersive collection of original costumes worn by the iconic characters, props from the show, and a behind-the-scenes look at the development of the groundbreaking series. Tricks and Treats
Experience thrills for the whole family during our daytime, family-friendly event with activities and shows that will have you laughing, cheering, and creating unforgettable memories together at Six Flags Over Texas for Tricks and Treats starting select days until Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025. The World of Pumpkin Nights
Started in the patch, and now we're here. Born from a passion for local artistry and the ethereal magic of the season, Howell Family Farms mission sidestepped the usual gore and scares of Halloween, choosing instead to embrace the warmth and wonder of fall. At Pumpkin Nights, you'll journey through a half-mile trail dotted with the Forbidden City, a Pirate’s Cove, and other lands, all illuminated by over 7,500 meticulously hand-carved real and artificial pumpkins. But the magic doesn't end there; at The Village, where fall food, fire dancing, and games set the mood for an unforgettable night. Prices vary depending on if it's a weeknight or a weekend. Tickets must be purchased online. You can also choose your time. Pumpkin Nights run from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 31, 2025. Parking is $10.00. Cash or card is accepted. For their team to safely park all guests on busy evenings, parking lines may last up to 30 minutes. Please plan accordingly.
Annual Genealogy Network of Texas Lock-In

Tottie Lynn Story Times
Storytime is a thoughtful and fun way to encourage children's love of books. It will also set them into motion as future budding readers! Join the fabulous Library staff as you explore stories, rhymes, songs and more at the Dottie Lynn Recreation Center 9:30-10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2025. This program is developmentally appropriate for ages 2-4, but all ages are welcome. To help all the children get the most out of their experience, you are encouraged to listen, sing, and wiggle along with your little ones. No registration required. Little Explorers – Downtown Library
Stop by The Children’s Play Room at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library on 10 a.m. Fridays for a morning of play-based learning. This come-and-go program will vary week-to-week as librarians explore art, math, science, engineering, and fine motor skills. Family Storytime – Southeast Branch Library

Storytime at River Legacy Nature Center
Join for an indoor family story time at the River Legacy Nature Center in partnership with the Arlington Public Library 1:30-2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, on this month’s topic Autumn Leaves. This program is recommended for ages 3-8. Listen to themed books and learn about squirrels with one of the Naturalists. RSVP is required. Limited space available.
CS4Kids
CS stands for Computer Science! This is hands- introduction to computer science is for kids ages 9-12. Come join friends from Frontier STEM Academy as they teach an eight-week course with hands-on sessions where students are able to get inside the desktop and learn components like CPU, GPU, and RAM. Work with your classmates to build a computer at the end of the course. It takes place 4:30-5:30 p.m. every Friday through Friday, Oct. 24, 2025. This eight-week course is cumulative so please try to attend each class. This program is designed for tweens and registration is required. Dottie Lynn's In-Tents Campout
Experience the ultimate fall family campout adventure 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17 to 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, at Dottie Lynn! Set up your tents and light your lanterns for a night filled with creativity, delicious s'mores, and endless family fun. Participate in tent decorating, enjoy entertaining games, and bond with fellow campers under the stars in this unforgettable outdoor celebration. You must register for the event.
Harvest Splash
East Indoor Pool will be hosting their third annual floating pumpkin patch 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2025! Find your perfect pumpkin and decorate it in the Party Room and take photos with it at the photo booth. You won't want to miss this awesome autumnal event! All participants must register. An adult must be in the water with all non-swimmers, 3–5-year-olds, and individuals wearing lifejackets.

Levitt Pavilion Summer Concert Series & National Life Group Do Good Fest
Levitt Pavilion Arlington’s Summer Concert Series continues 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, as Micky and The Motorcars feat. Homebody takes the stage, and then 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, it’s the National Life Group Presents: Do Good Fest Texas!. These concerts are free. Open seating is available on the lawn. Free Haunted House in Downtown Arlington
The 3rd annual Haunted House event takes place in and outside The Chosen One Ink 8:30 p.m. to midnight Friday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025. Live actors, animatronics, piercing specials and free candy for the gools and goblins! Children are welcome with an adult! Come join for a fun and safe time. Lake Arlington Garden Activity Day
Arlington Water Utilities and Tarrant Regional Water District are working with local conservation stakeholders and community groups to restore native prairie and wildflowers to 2.75 acres of land adjacent to the Lake Arlington Dam 8-10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025. This gated area at 5500 Lake Arlington Drive also features demonstration garden beds with native plants.
Canines & Coffee
Get ready to kickstart your Saturday morning with the ultimate combination of coffee, community, and canine fun! Downtown Arlington invites you and your furry best friend to their monthly Canines & Coffee event 8-10 a.m. Saturday Oct. 18, 2025, at the Downtown Arlington Doggy Depot. This free event is designed for dog lovers and their pups to socialize and enjoy the fresh air. It will feature pop-up coffee from local favorite, Inclusion Coffee, selling delicious beverages to start your day right.
12th Annual Glass Pumpkin Sale and Fundraiser
This year marks the 12th Annual Glass Pumpkin Sale and Fundraiser, hosted by the UTA Art and Art History Department’s Glass Area and our student organization, 2100Club, as part of Parents & Family Weekend. Join from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, at the Studio Art Center (810 S. Davis Drive, Arlington) for a day of glass, creativity, and community. Each pumpkin you’ll see has been handcrafted by our students and faculty, with hours of care and creativity poured into every piece. While you shop, you’ll also have the chance to experience live glassblowing demonstrations - a glimpse into the excitement and artistry that makes these works so special. This event is free and open to all. Most importantly, every pumpkin you take home helps support our students through scholarships, materials, and opportunities that keep our glass program thriving.

At Spice Club, you will learn about a different spice every month. This month you will learn about: Sourdough. Attend to discover a spice and receive a take-and-make kit featuring a variety of unique spices, herbs, or blends. It takes place 12-1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, at the Southeast Branch Library. Each kit will include information about the featured spice, its history with a few facts; two simple recipe suggestions; Small packet of the featured spice to try. Spice of the month kits are free, but supplies are limited. Please, only one kit per household. No registration required.
Bark & Strut: A Mini-Dog Show
Grab your leash and bring the whole family—furry friends included—for a paw-some day of fun at Bark & Strut on The Lawn at Arlington Highlands 12:30-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025.

DIY Rainwater Harvesting
This event takes place 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, at the Southeast Branch Library. Be sure to register for the event. Attendees get to build their own rain barrel and take it home. One barrel per household. Discover how to create your own rainwater collection system, perfect for conserving water and reducing your water bill. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to repurpose a standard barrel into an efficient, eco-friendly rain catcher. You’ll get step-by-step guidance on setting up the barrel, connecting it to your home’s gutter system, and maintaining it for long-term use. Collecting rainwater is an easy way to help the environment by reducing stormwater runoff, conserving municipal water supplies, and providing your garden with untreated, chemical-free water.

Blood & Clocktower is a collaborative yet deceptive game where players take on secret roles in a mysterious village. Some players are working together to solve the mystery, while others have hidden agendas trying to sow chaos. Through discussion, deduction, and deception, players must figure out who to trust before it’s too late.
Paint Wars
Paint Wars, a local artist speed painting competition, is a free community event where 8-10 local artists will compete live on stage at Division Brewing 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025. Each artist paints a picture in 20 minutes and then the audience votes to see who progresses through three rounds. The audience will also determine the winner! Artist will also be selling their live paintings.
Sunday Brunch
Ventana Grille at the Tierra Verde Golf Club clubhouse is now serving brunch from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. each Sunday. Menu items include four savory Eggs Benedict entrées, Shrimp-N-Grits, Ginger Salmon, and their favorite - Napoleon's Last Meal, a buttermilk fried chicken breast over bourbon French toast and served with maple syrup! Canalicchio di Sopra Italian Wine Dinner
Join the Sanford House for an evening that celebrates the soul of Tuscany 6:30-9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025. They’re rolling out the red carpet for Canalicchio di Sopra, one of Montalcino’s most acclaimed wineries, with a five-course dinner crafted by Executive Chef David Pacheco. The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with passed appetizers and a welcome toast. From 7-9 p.m., settle in for a curated menu paired with exceptional Italian wines, as Constanza Giorgio, Export Manager at Canalicchio di Sopra, shares stories from the vineyard and guides us through each pour.
