The Arlington Police Department is investigating a crash that resulted in the death of a 21-year-old man.

On Sunday, October 26, 2025, at approximately 4:57 p.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of SW Green Oaks Boulevard after receiving reports that an electric bicycle collided with a Dodge Ram.

When officers arrived on scene, they were informed the 21-year-old, who was riding the electric bike, was already being transported to a local hospital. He was later pronounced deceased from his injuries.

The driver of the pickup immediately stopped, remained on scene, and was cooperative with the investigation. He is not facing any criminal charges in connection to this incident.

Investigators determined the pickup driver was exiting a parking lot to turn westbound onto SW Green Oaks Blvd when the bike rider collided with the truck. The force of the impact caused the rider to be thrown from the bike.

Investigators do not believe the pickup driver was speeding or intoxicated at the time. He was not injured.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the deceased once next of kin have been notified.
