Get ready for a howling good time at Arlington Animal Services’ first Wag-o-Ween.

This spooktacular, pet-focused celebration will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at the Arlington Animal Services Center, located at 1000 SE Green Oaks Blvd.

Wag-o-Ween promises a day of family-friendly fun and pet services. Pet owners can take advantage of valuable health services, including free and low-cost vaccinations. The first 200 pets to arrive between 10 a.m. and noon will receive free rabies vaccinations and microchips.

Wag-o-Ween will also feature:

  • Trunk-or-Treating with food and games
  • Local vendors and pet booths
  • Affordable pet adoptions, which include pet vaccinations, spay or neuter, heartworm testing for dogs, FIV/FELV testing for cats, a microchip and more.
  • A costume contest for pets and children. Don’t be a scaredy cat – unleash your creativity! Prizes await those with the best costumes!
