Fans of HBO’s epic fantasy series Game of Thrones are invited to journey into the world of Westeros like never before. Game of Thrones™: The Exhibition, runs until Sunday, April 5, 2026, showcasing an immersive collection of original costumes worn by the iconic characters, props from the show, and a behind-the-scenes look at the development of the groundbreaking series. Little Explorers – Downtown Library

Stop by The Children’s Play Room at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library on 10 a.m. Fridays for a morning of play-based learning.  This come-and-go program will vary week-to-week as librarians explore art, math, science, engineering, and fine motor skills. Family Storytime – Southeast Branch Library

Golden Salsa Party

Yoga at the Lake Arlington Garden

Join for a free outdoor yoga class at the Lake Arlington Native Plant and Pollinator Garden 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025. Space is limited. Arlington Water Utilities and Tarrant Regional Water District are working with local conservation stakeholders and community groups to restore native prairie and wildflowers to 2.75 acres of land adjacent to the Lake Arlington Dam. This gated area at 5500 Lake Arlington Drive also features demonstration garden beds with native plants.

Walk to End Colon Cancer

Join the Colorectal Cancer Alliance in a walk to end colon cancer on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Levitt Pavilion! All participants must register for entry to event. Check in at the welcome tent is 9 a.m., opening ceremony is at 9:30 a.m. and walk begins at 10 a.m.

Downtown Arlington Farmers Market

The Downtown Arlington Farmers Market runs every Saturday year-round (with the exception of the weekend of Thanksgiving and Christmas) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot at the corner of Front and Center Streets. The market will feature fresh, locally-source produce, unique artisan goods and community connection.

The Big Dill

Build Your Own Bee Hotel

Wildlife – including bees - need places to hide, escape and rest, but habitat loss has reduced their natural options. Help them out by creating a hotel for your own backyard! Make your own bee hotel during the class to bring home and feature in your North Texas yard! This event takes place 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at the Northeast Branch Library. Learn from Tarrant County Master Gardners how you can support roaming bees and other native pollinators by providing them with their favorite foods. Attendees will create shelters that mimic the natural habitat of local wildlife. You must register for this event.

Smallest Catch Fishing Tournament

Cliff Nelson Recreation Center is excited to host a unique fishing tournament where the goal is to catch the smallest fish 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025! Whether you're an experienced angler of a first timer, this casual tournament is perfect for everyone of all ages. Registration guarantees entrance into the fishing tournament. Attendance is free to enjoy the vendors and entertainment.

Texas Rangers 5K

The Texas Rangers 5K presented by Medical City Healthcare, the Official Healthcare System of the Texas Rangers, takes place 8 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, at Globe Life Field.
