Game of Thrones: The Exhibition
Fans of HBO’s epic fantasy series Game of Thrones are invited to journey into the world of Westeros like never before. The Arlington Museum of Art presents Game of Thrones™: The Exhibition. The exhibit showcasing an immersive collection of original costumes worn by the iconic characters, props from the show, and a behind-the-scenes look at the development of the groundbreaking series. The Nativity Project photography exhibit
The Arlington Museum of Art presents a photographic exhibition that invites viewers along a cross-country exploration of how culture, faith, and place can shape tradition. Created by artist Amy J. Schultz, "The Nativity Project" features outdoor nativity scenes that the artist photographed over nearly a decade of travel to all fifty states. Sixty-five of Schultz’s photographs alongside select excerpts from her field journal are on display. It runs until Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026.
Strongman Games
Whether you're a die-hard fan of strongman competitions or discovering the sport for the first time, the 2025 Cerberus Strength Official Strongman Games offer a chance to witness history in the making. It takes place Thursday, Nov. 20 through Sunday, Nov. 23, 2023, at the College Park Center. Opening Day is open to the public. Athletes will be competing for the coveted title of World's Strongest Man and World’s Strongest Woman across multiple weight classes and age categories. Fans will be treated to thrilling live demonstrations, behind-the-scenes access, and the opportunity to meet the athletes who push the limits of human strength. Learn more about tickets.
Shows at Arlington Music Hall
The Arlington Music Hall has shows you can enjoy starting 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, it’s The Gatlin Brothers: Country & Christmas. At 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, it’s Three Dog Night @Arlington Music Hall. Rounding out the weekend, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, it’s Beatles vs. Stones – A Musical Showdown at Arlington Music Hall.
Tottie Lynn Story Times
Storytime is a thoughtful and fun way to encourage children's love of books. It will also set them into motion as future budding readers! Join the Arlington Public Library’s fabulous staff as you explore stories, rhymes, songs and more at the Dottie Lynn Recreation Center 9:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2025! This program is developmentally appropriate for ages 2-4, but all ages are welcome. To help all the children get the most out of their experience, we encourage you to listen, sing, and wiggle along with your little ones. No registration required. Stop by The Children’s Play Room at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library on 10 a.m. Fridays for a morning of play-based learning. This come-and-go program will vary week-to-week as librarians explore art, math, science, engineering, and fine motor skills. Family Storytime – Southeast Branch Library

Texas Christkindl Market
Experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of the holiday season as the 15th Texas Christkindl Market returns to Arlington as it kicks off 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2025. It is a free, family friendly market in Arlington featuring a unique shopping experience for holiday gifts, decorations, and one-of-a-kind finds. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will be at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28, when the market’s Christkindl Angel brings to life the Christmas tree and a breathtaking display of holiday lights. Admission to the Texas Christkindl Market is free, and parking is also free, except on football game days. Guests are encouraged to check parking updates and event details online before visiting. Arlington Nutcracker Ballet
Arlington Nutcracker Ballet is presented by United Performing Arts Company. There are four shows that can fit your schedule. Start your holiday season off with this family favorite.

The Art and Science of Arachnids Exhibit at River Legacy Nature Center
America's largest touring exhibit of arachnids is coming to the River Legacy Nature Center! Explore arachnids’ cultural ties to medicine, music, and folklore through interactive exhibits, giant sculptures, live arachnids, and stunning artwork. Get hands-on with web-weaving, silk science, and enjoy macro photography while getting active and learning the Tarantella Dance. Produced by Little Ray’s Exhibitions, one of North America's largest exotic animal rescues. This exhibit opens Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, to Saturday, Feb. 28th, 2026. Downtown Arlington Farmers Market
The Downtown Arlington Farmers Market runs every Saturday year-round (with the exception of the weekend of Thanksgiving and Christmas) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot at the corner of Front and Center Streets. The market will feature fresh, locally-source produce, unique artisan goods and community connection.
Rally Days
Rally Days presented by SeatGeek give NFL fans an experience of a lifetime the day prior to Dallas Cowboys home games – enjoy activities at Miller Lite®House, get a behind-the-scenes tour of AT&T Stadium and more. Chess Club Tournament
The Arlington Public Library’s Chess Club is excited to offer this tournament, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Southwest Branch Library Community Room. Students between the ages of 7 and 16 are invited to participate in this five-round, Swiss-style, non-elimination tournament. No Fee required; however, players need to register for tournament between 9:30-9:45 a.m. on event day. First round begins at 10 a.m. with other rounds following as games are finished. Students have a chance to play five games. Plaques will be awarded to the 1st through 5th place winners! Plaques provided by Arlington Chess Club. Players will need to follow these rules:

Silent Book Club
The book club with no assigned reading and no pressure! They meet once a month at local spots around Arlington & Grand Prairie to read, drink, and be in community with other bookworms. Bring any book you choose, enjoy some refreshments, and stay for optional socializing just before and after the reading time. Crochet Basics: Hippy Scarf
Join the Arlington Public Library for a hands-on introduction to the relaxing and creative world of crochet 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library’s Tinker Room. This class is perfect for absolute beginners or anyone looking to refresh their skills. You'll learn how to hold a crochet hook, work basic stitches like chain and single crochet, and start a simple project you can take home. This class is appropriate for ages 13+.
Elzie Odom Fall Festival
Join for a FREE and festive afternoon at Elzie Odom Athletic Center 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, to celebrate the spirit of fall! All ages are welcome to enjoy a day full of autumn fun, with activities spread throughout the festival grounds. Hop on a hayride, get your face painted or try a beautiful henna tattoo, and let the kids enjoy the bounce houses.
