As Thanksgiving approaches, Mission Arlington is gearing up to serve thousands of families across our community—and they could use a helping hand. Volunteers are needed to help pack and prepare turkey baskets starting Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, and to deliver those baskets to families on Thanksgiving morning. Each year, Mission Arlington provides meals for more than 7,000 families—reaching over 30,000 people—and that kind of impact takes a village. If you’ve got a little time and a big heart, this is a great way to give back.
In addition to volunteers, Mission Arlington is also in need of food donations to help fill the baskets. And if you’re available on Thanksgiving Day, they’re looking for folks to help serve a sit-down dinner for around 300 people. Whether you’re packing, delivering, or serving, every role matters. To volunteer, just call 817-277-6620 or stop by Mission Arlington at 210 West South St. Volunteer hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday. It’s a simple way to make a big difference this holiday season.
