Holiday Magic Returns to Arlington at the Texas Christkindl Market
Published on November 10, 2025
Get ready to experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of the holiday season as the 15th Annual Texas Christkindl Market returns to Arlington. This beloved tradition will take place Nov. 21–23 and Nov. 28–Dec. 23, 2025, open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the North Plaza of Globe Life Field.
Inspired by cherished German holiday markets, the Texas Christkindl Market brings together the best of Old-World charm and Texas hospitality. Guests can stroll through rows of festively decorated booths offering handmade gifts, ornaments, and European-inspired treats. This year’s market features more vendors than ever before, making it the perfect place to find one-of-a-kind holiday treasures.
The Texas Christkindl Market was inspired by the more than 70-year sister-city relationship between Arlington and Bad Königshofen, Germany, and first came to life in 2011. This beloved event partners with Arlington’s Friendship City of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany, to bring the magical essence of Bavarian tradition and holiday cheer to Texas.
Throughout the season, visitors can enjoy more than 30 live performances, from local choirs and dance troupes to festive bands that fill the air with the joyful sounds of the holidays. Families will find plenty of kid-friendly entertainment and photo-worthy moments throughout the market.
The Tree Lighting Ceremony will be at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, when the market’s Christkindl Angel brings to life the Christmas tree and a breathtaking display of holiday lights.
Admission to the Texas Christkindl Market is free, and parking is also free, except on football game days. Guests are encouraged to check parking updates and event details online before visiting.
