Arlington Farmers Market Extending to Year-Round Operation

Arlington residents can now visit the Arlington Farmers Market year-round in Downtown Arlington, after the Arlington City Council approved an update to the agreement with Four Seasons Markets, the market’s operator.

Building on its growing popularity and strong community support, the market’s expansion reflects the City’s ongoing commitment to fostering vibrant public spaces, supporting local produce vendors and other small businesses. The expansion will create more opportunities for residents and visitors to connect over fresh, locally sourced goods in the heart of Arlington.

The Downtown Arlington Farmers Market is excited to extend our market dates to year-round! We have loved being part of Arlington and are looking forward to more time together, growing and building community,” said Four Seasons Markets Market Director Abby Rudolph.

During the 2025 season from March 29 through Sept. 28, the Arlington Farmers Market welcomed approximately 19,000 visitors to its Downtown location. On average, the market featured 44 weekly vendors, with food vendors representing 55 to 60 percent of those stalls.

Visitor behavior data also underscores the growing role of the market in the downtown area. Time-spent per visit averaged 15 to 44 minutes, and the market area saw a year-over-year increase in visits of about 188.5 percent. Attendees cited the market’s value for supporting local and small business vendors, strengthening community connections, and providing a lively gathering place in the heart of downtown.

Rudoph said the market will operate year-round, weather permitting, except for the weekends after Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The City’s agreement with Four Seasons Markets also allows for the footprint of the market to expand, giving the opportunity for more vendors to attend. Rudolph said Four Seasons plans additional seasonal vendors to attend in November and December.

The Market is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays in the parking lot at 300 W. Front St. in Downtown Arlington.
