As summer rolls in, June is the perfect time for celebration, community, and fun in the sun! Mark your calendar for these upcoming June events with Arlington Parks and Recreation.

Father’s Day Pool Tournament at ACTIV (50+ yrs) – Friday, June 13

ACTIV will host a fun-filled classic 8-Ball pool tournament from 9-11 AM in celebration of Father's Day! Dads and players of all skill levels can compete and enjoy a day of friendly competition. Participation is only $2 for members and $4 for non-members. Come cue up the fun at Arlington’s newest 50+ recreation center!

Splash Tales at The Beacon – Friday, June 13

Dive into a world of imagination and adventure at Splash Tales! The first Splash Tales event of the summer will be held at The Beacon’s splash pad from 10-11 AM. Kids can come enjoy interactive stories, water-themed crafts, and splashing good fun at this free summer event!

Summer Solstice Yoga – Friday, June 20

The summer solstice marks the longest, lightest day of the year. Join us at The Beacon from 6-7:30 PM for an invigorating yoga class outdoors followed by a 15-minute sound bath as we enjoy the longest day of the year! This event is for ages 15 and up. Admission is $10 per person.

Friday Night Splash Party – Friday, June 20

Join us under the stars at The Beacon’s splash pad from 6-9 PM for an evening filled with music, laughter, and delicious eats! Bring your friends and family for a night of splash pad fun with a featured food truck offering delectable treats. Admission is free and open to all ages!

Sensory Swim – Saturday, June 21

Head out to Howard Moore Play Pool from 9-11 AM for a supervised sensory-friendly swim! Children with special needs, their caregivers, and families are invited. Each individual needs to register for this all-ages event, which is limited to 40 attendees. Registration is $3 per person.
