Five Things to Know About DreamFest 2025
1. What is DreamFest?
DreamFest is Arlington’s biggest block party, hosted at Levitt Pavilion and packed with free entertainment for all ages. Each night features live music, local shopping, and food trucks, with Saturday as the main event, offering family-friendly extra fun like a bounce house, internationally famous magician Diego Chavez, and face painting. Event times vary by day: Friday’s concert begins at 7 p.m., Saturday’s festivities start at 5 p.m., and Sunday’s concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
2. How did DreamFest get started?
DreamFest was created to celebrate the spirit that makes Arlington: The American Dream City. Mayor Jim Ross envisioned a free, family-friendly block party and asked Levitt to help make it happen. Over the next three years, DreamFest evolved from a one-day event into a three-day Memorial weekend celebration.
3. Food and drink
DreamFest will offer a delicious variety of food trucks and beverage vendors each night. Levitt guests are also welcome to bring their own coolers and picnic baskets (but no glass).
4. Know before you go
Admission is free. Lawn chairs or blankets are highly encouraged, as is early arrival. Free parking is available in any Downtown Arlington or City of Arlington lot, as well as the UTA parking garage. Pets are also welcome at DreamFest, as long as they are leashed, well-behaved, and their humans are ready to pick up after them. Lastly: Wear comfy shoes and stay hydrated—bring your own water bottle to fill up or purchase water on site.
5. Who makes DreamFest possible?
DreamFest is made possible through the support of DreamFest sponsors: Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau, Rotary Club of Arlington Downtown & Arlington Sunrise Rotary Club and Hutcherson Construction
Here's another sponsor fun fact: Saturday night sponsor Hutcherson Construction led the construction of the beautiful two story Levitt Center, where many events and activities happen throughout the year!
