2025 Memorial Day Closings and City Service Schedules in Arlington

City of Arlington municipal offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025, in observance of Memorial Day.

Garbage and residential recycling pickups will occur in Arlington on Monday as regularly scheduled.

Regular office hours and service schedules for some facilities will resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 27.

• All Arlington Public Library branches except the East Library and Recreation Center 
• Arlington Housing Authority
• Water Utilities South Service Center
• Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau
• Handitran office and Handitran special transportation services
• Arlington Animal Services Center
• Meadowbrook Recreation Center
• Bob Duncan Center
• Lake Arlington Event Center
• Arlington ISD Natatorium
• Parks and Recreation Department administrative offices
