Kids Day at AT&T Stadium

Kids Day at AT&T Stadium is a day full of adventure on the Cowboys field! It starts at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2025. Kids will enjoy bounce houses, lawn games, football & soccer challenges, inflatables, a DJ, exclusive stadium access and more! Arlington Pools & Splash Pads Open

Get ready for some fun in the sun! The City of Arlington’s Bad Königshofen Family Aquatic Center, Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center, Allen Bolden Outdoor Pool, Woodland West, & Howard Moore pools    and its three free outdoor splash pads are open through Labor Day weekend in early September, while the smaller outdoor pools will close in August. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor

The largest water park in North Texas is back open daily for the summer. Head over to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor or its website to purchase tickets and passes.

M.C. Escher: Infinite Variations at the Arlington Museum of Art

The Arlington Museum of Art is bringing the mind-bending work of M.C. Escher to Arlington for its summer exhibition through Sunday, August 3, 2025. With over 150 works spanning the career of the graphic designer, M.C. Escher: Infinite Variations explores the metamorphic work of one of the most famous printmakers in modern times. The Smurf Experience

This 13,000-square-foot, fully immersive attraction will transport families into the heart of Smurf Village. The experience will be held at the Arlington Museum of Art. The 75-minute experience will feature nine mission-based zones filled with interactive scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, virtual reality adventures, meet-and-greets with beloved Smurf characters and more. It's hands-on, high-energy and full of Smurftastic fun for kids and parents alike. The Smurf Experience is not to be missed and is only in Texas until the end of the Summer. Little Explorers – Downtown Library

Stop by The Children’s Play Room at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library on 10 a.m. Fridays for a morning of play-based learning.  This come-and-go program will vary week-to-week as librarians explore art, math, science, engineering, and fine motor skills. Join the Arlington Public Library for a playfully discover the world around us! Designed for ages 1-4. Family Storytime – Southeast Branch Library

Creativity Corner

Swing by the Southeast Branch Library 3-4:30 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2025, and dive into your creativity with this school-age through teen process art program. Each week will have a theme and sensory element to offer us inspiration and guidance as you work to make an original piece of art using a wide array of supplies (including but not limited to buttons, pipe cleaners, baking soda paint, watercolors, yarn). Creativity Corner is part of our Supporting Neurodivergent Access to Programming series.  Because this program uses hot glue and some small-sized craft supplies, it is not recommended for very young children. Crazy Cryptids

The Loch Ness Monster, Mothman, Bigfoot... all of these are mythological creatures known as cryptids, and they've come to check out the Arlington Public Library! Can you find all of the cryptids in the library? And don't forget to make your very own mini cryptid to take home! This program is from 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Southwest Branch Library and will be for ages 13 - 17 only. Texas Rangers host Seattle Mariners

Your hometown Rangers host the Seattle Mariners for a three-game weekend set at Globe Life Field. First pitches are scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Friday, June 27, 3:05 p.m. Saturday, June 28, and 1:35 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2025. View ticket information on the Rangers’ website.

Levitt Pavilion Spring Concert Series

Levitt Pavilion Arlington’s Spring Concert Series continues 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2025 with Tejano Queen Forever with Quimikoz Del Son and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025, it’s Bob Schneider with Fastest Land Animal. These concerts are free. Open seating is available on the lawn. Please bring blankets and lawn chairs. Lake Arlington Garden Activity Day

Arlington Water Utilities and Tarrant Regional Water District are working with local conservation stakeholders and community groups to restore native prairie and wildflowers to 2.75 acres of land adjacent to the Lake Arlington Dam 8-10 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025. This gated area at 5500 Lake Arlington Drive also features demonstration garden beds with native plants.

Al Rollins Park Groundbreaking Ceremony

You're invited to celebrate the Al Rollins Park groundbreaking. The 9 a.m. event will take place on-site at 3311 SW Green Oaks Blvd., adjacent to the Southwest Branch Library, Saturday, June 28, 2025. Parking will be available in the library lot. The 2.4-acre Al Rollins Park will feature a variety of amenities designed to engage residents of all ages and support environmental education.

Downtown Arlington Farmers Market

The Downtown Arlington Farmers Market runs every Saturday through November from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot at the corner of Front and Center Streets. The market will feature fresh, locally-source produce, unique artisan goods and community connection.

Stars and Stripes on the Lawn

Enjoy a star-spangled morning of cheer at Stars and Stripes on the Lawn — a red, white, and festive celebration happening Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 10–11:30 a.m. on The Lawn at Arlington Highlands! Round up your stars and stripes squad and get into the patriotic spirit! With plenty of sunshine, fun photo ops, and family friendly activities, it's the perfect way to kick off your 4th of July celebrations a little early.

Silent Book Club

The book club with no assigned reading and no pressure! They meet once a month at local spots around Arlington & Grand Prairie to read, drink, and be in community with other bookworms. Bring any book you choose, enjoy some refreshments, and stay for optional socializing just before and after the reading time. Meetup location is Just Love Coffee Cafe located at 1020 Mayfield Rd. Suite 600 in Grand Prairie from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025.

Crayon Art

Explore the world of crayon art in this interactive class 2-4 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library’s Tinker Room. You will be guided though using heat to turn wax into a vibrant piece of art with beautiful designs. Class is limited to the first 8 in attendance for ages 13+. Materials will be provided.

Family Craft Time: Weekend Special

Prefer to craft on the weekend? Gather the family and head over to the Southeast Branch 2-4 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025, for a fun afternoon of DIY crafts! Free supplies will be provided for themed activities celebrating the summer season, creativity and collaboration. This is a come-and-go event. Themed crafts are intended for ages 5+. Parents and caregivers must be present and are encouraged to join in on the fun. Paws to Read

Have your kiddos practice reading aloud with a canine friend 2:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Southwest Branch Library! Heart of Texas Therapy Dogs is partnering with the Arlington Public Library to bring dogs for children to read with. Reading to dogs helps young readers improve their skills in a relaxed, friendly environment. Bring your own book or borrow one of ours. There will be sign-ups to read with the therapy dogs before the program begins. Space is limited to the number of dogs available. This program is for ages 5 - 12 only.

Circus Bitties Variety Show - Ballads and Anthems

Get ready for a night of emotion, passion, and power as power ballads & anthems takes over Truth Vinyl on Saturday, June 28. Expect soaring vocals, hair-whipping drama, and glitter-fueled glory. Hosted by the fierce STITCHES and featuring Opal Sky, Jess Baroness, LotusKitten, Aerial Alec, Dinah La Saur, DeLulu Deelight, and Alasia Dupree—this is your main character moment. Sunday Brunch

Ventana Grille at the Tierra Verde Golf Club clubhouse is now serving brunch from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. each Sunday. Menu items include four savory Eggs Benedict entrées, Shrimp-N-Grits, Ginger Salmon, and their favorite - Napoleon's Last Meal, a buttermilk fried chicken breast over bourbon French toast and served with maple syrup! Arlington Community Band’s Patriotic Concert

The Arlington Community Band presents its Sounds of the Season: Patriotic Concert, 7 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Lamar Baptist Church. It is free to attend.
