We’re officially one year away from hosting FIFA World Cup 26™, and the excitement is already kicking off—literally! As part of the celebration, the North Texas FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee just launched a Community Soccer Equipment, Cleats, and Shoe Drive and they need your help.
Now through June 30, the North Texas FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee is inviting residents to donate new or gently used soccer gear and shoes. Donations collected will benefit underserved communities across the region and even around the world.
One of the official drop-off locations is right here in Arlington at Kroger, 2580 E. Arkansas Lane. That means it’s easy and convenient to get involved.
What to donate:
- Soccer balls
- Cleats, shin guards, and uniforms
- Any gently used soccer gear
- All types of shoes (to be distributed by the nonprofit Soles4Souls)
Soccer equipment and cleats will go to local nonprofits that serve youth across North Texas, helping remove barriers to participation in the sport. Soles4Souls will ensure donated shoes reach people in need around the world as part of their mission to fight poverty and promote sustainability.
Be Part of Something Bigger
This is more than a donation drive, it's a way for Arlington residents to come together and make a difference in the lives of young athletes while celebrating our role as a proud host city for FIFA World Cup 26™.
