The Arlington Police Department is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred Saturday evening in the 4300 block of Turner Warnell Road.
At approximately 7:40 p.m. on June 21, 2025, officers were dispatched to the area after receiving multiple 911 calls about an overturned vehicle in the roadway with no driver in sight. Upon arrival, officers, along with Arlington Fire and EMS personnel, located the driver—a 21-year-old man—lying in the driveway of a nearby residence. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS.
The preliminary investigation indicates the driver of a 2019 Ford Mustang was traveling westbound on Turner Warnell at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle. The Mustang entered a drainage ditch and struck a tree, then re-entered the roadway and overturned. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and landed approximately 40 feet from where the vehicle came to rest. Investigators believe he was not wearing a seatbelt.
A witness reported that the Mustang appeared to be attempting to pass another vehicle at the time of the crash. The Arlington Police Department’s Crash Investigation Unit responded to the scene to document and process the crash site.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the deceased once next of kin have been notified.
