The heart of Downtown Arlington will transform into a vibrant hub of creativity and culture on Saturday, September 20, 2025, as the West Main Arts Festival returns for its highly anticipated 9th annual celebration of art, music, and community. The free, family-friendly event will run from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM along the historic West Main Street corridor, just steps from City Hall and the Arlington Public Library.
Known as one of the largest and most eclectic arts festivals in Arlington, the West Main Arts Fest brings together 70+ visual artists, 25+ local musicians and performers, food trucks, artisan vendors, and interactive activities in a dynamic street festival atmosphere.
“This isn’t just a festival—it’s a celebration of Arlington’s creative soul,” said festival founder and Create Texas director Mark Joeckel. “Whether you’re discovering new music, buying art, or just soaking in the energy of our downtown, there’s something for everyone here.”
Highlights Include:
- Three Live Music Stages featuring jazz, rock, indie, acoustic, and youth performances
- 70+ artist booths showcasing painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, jewelry, and more
- Interactive art zones for kids and families
- Live painting demos, murals, and hands-on workshops
- Local food trucks and craft vendors offering everything from tacos to cold brew
This year’s festival builds on the success of past events, which have attracted 45,000+ attendees and generated over $500,000 in local economic impact. Created in 2016 and sustained by the nonprofit organization Create Texas, the event highlights the role of the arts in building a strong, connected community.
