The Arlington Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting at an apartment complex in the 7800 block of Salton Drive.
At approximately 6:53 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, officers responded to a report of a shooting in progress that resulted in the death of a 20-year-old man. According to the complainant, the victim was shot by his roommate before the suspect fled the scene. The vehicle the suspect fled in was later found abandoned. The victim was transported to MCA and pronounced deceased early this afternoon.
The motive for the homicide is under investigation, and the suspect remains at large. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Arlington Police Department.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the victim.
