December 2025 Student-Athlete of the Month: Daniel Misiani

Daniel Misiani, a senior on Seguin High School’s basketball team, has been selected as the City of Arlington’s Student-Athlete of the Month for December 2025.

Misiani, a do-it-all player, has helped the Cougars jump out to an impressive record to start the season.

“He’s the one who shows up every night and does his job,” said Steven Thomas, Seguin High School Head Basketball Coach. “And I can appreciate that. Especially in a climate of high school sports today, you know, it's more of what can you do for me?”

“He's more on what can we do for us? What can we do for our team, whether it's in a classroom or out on the court.”

After he graduates, Misiani plans on continuing his basketball career at the college level.
