Community Invited to Vote on Fielder Park Redevelopment Concepts

Following strong community participation in a public survey earlier this fall, Arlington Parks, Recreation & Culture is inviting residents to take the next step in shaping the future of Fielder Park by reviewing and voting on their preferred redevelopment concept.
Fielder Park is a 6-acre neighborhood park located at 1100 S. Fielder Road in central Arlington.
In October, the City launched a community survey to gather feedback on how residents use Fielder Park today and what improvements they would like to see in the future. The survey generated hundreds of responses and provided valuable insight into park usage, desired amenities, and priorities for reinvestment.
Based on that input, the City’s park planning team and design consultant developed two preliminary concept plans that reflect the community’s feedback while preserving the park’s existing character. These concepts explore potential enhancements such as improved trail connections, updated recreational amenities, new gathering spaces, and site improvements designed to enhance safety, accessibility, and overall park experience.
Residents are now encouraged to:
- Review the two redevelopment concepts
- Learn more about the planning process and proposed improvements
- Vote for the concept they believe best reflects the future of Fielder Park
Community voting will remain open through January 9, 2026.
