Ask Arlington App Users Make 10,000+ Service Requests in 2025

We appreciate you! In 2025, residents made more than 10,000 service requests through the new Ask Arlington app to help the City identify needed improvements to keep our streets and sidewalks well-lit and in good order and our neighborhoods and business districts safer and cleaner.   

The City of Arlington launched an updated version of the Ask Arlington app in December 2024 that is more intuitive and easier to use than the previous app. Since the launch, more than 19,570 people have downloaded the app, which allows users to submit their services requests to the City directly from their smartphone and to track the status of their requests in real time. The app, which is available in both English and Spanish, also includes quick links to essential information on city services, such as garbage and recycling collection, park amenities and how to apply for a permit.

• Overgrown Weeds and Grass
• Service Line Locates
• Abandon Vehicle in the Street
• Missed Collection Garbage/Recycling
• Unclean Premises
• Nuisance Vehicle
• Parking in the Yard
• Additional Garbage or Recycle Cart
• Deceased Animal
• Improper Storage Cart/Set Out Too Early

Currently, about 80% of the users are those who have downloaded the app on an Apple smart device. The app also works for Android devices.
