The Arlington Public Library is proud to announce that it is the recipient of the 2025 Texas Book Festival Grant, which supports libraries across the state by improving their print, e-book and audiobooks collections.

The Arlington Public Library has expanded its e-book collection with 204 new read-along titles for early readers thanks to the $2,500 grant.  These books feature audio narration paired with text that highlights each word as it’s spoken, providing support for children in the early stages of literacy. Read-along books also offer an easy way for caregivers and children to bond and read together. All of these books are available online so families can enjoy wherever they go.

Looking for some options to engage your little readers? You'll find books featuring Biscuit the Dog, the Berenstain Bears, Curious George, Splat the Cat, Amelia Bedelia, the Cat in the Hat and other favorites.
