About 1,500 households participated in the City of Arlington’s free electronics recycling and paper shredding event on April 12, 2025. This amazing turn out resulted in more than 62,000 pounds (31 tons) of electronic waste, and 25,000 pounds (12.5 tons) of paper collected and recycled by United Electronic Recycling/Mobile Shred It.
The City of Arlington would like to sincerely thank all the residents who participated in the event. Even with long wait times, your patience, and positive attitudes made all the difference. Your commitment to responsible recycling is what made this event a great success!
Residents were able to drop off a wide range of electronics waste, including laptop, phones, printers, TVs and other outdated gadgets, ensuring these hazardous items would be properly recycled.
