Northeast Branch Library Reopens After Temporary Closure

Carpet renovations have been completed at the Northeast Branch Library, and the location will fully reopen on Monday, May 5, 2025 for normal business hours.

The carpet was replaced throughout the Northeast Branch Library to create a fresh and welcoming space for our community. While this work was underway, most of the Northeast Branch was temporarily closed for approximately one week beginning Monday, April 28, 2025.

But the Arlington Public Library is still here for you! During this time, returns can still be made and holds will be available for pickup in the lobby, but with an adjusted schedule (see below).

 Lobby Hours to Pick Up Holds:

  •  Monday through Thursday: 12-6 p.m.
  •  Friday and Saturday: 12-5 p.m.
