The Light Park

Now – Jan. 4, 2026

The most exciting and electrifying Light Show south of the North Pole! Head out to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor for the most exciting drive through light show at The Light Park. Texas Christkindl Market

Nov. 21 – 23, Nov. 28 – Dec. 23

The Texas Christkindl Market is a free, family friendly market in Arlington featuring a unique shopping experience for holiday gifts, decorations, and one-of-a-kind finds. Miracle at Live!

Six Flags Holiday in the Park

Downtown Arlington’s Letters to Santa

Save the date for Downtown Arlington Texas' Letters to Santa event on Thursday, Dec. 4 at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library! Santa will be surrounded by cheerful Library elves eager to help your little ones write their letters to Santa. They'll guide them through the joyous process of crafting their wishes and addressing the envelopes, ensuring every letter is ready mail to the North Pole.

First Thursdays: Holiday Jazz in the Plaza

Join Downtown Arlington on Thursday, December 4 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the City Center Plaza for an evening of Holiday hits and classic jazz tunes. They’ll be handing out complimentary hot cocoa to keep you warm!

First Thursdays: Elves in the Window

Dec. 4

Get into the holiday spirit with the annual Elves in the Window event, hosted by Dance Theater Arlington at Miss Persis Studio of Dance!  On Thursday, December 4, starting at 6:30 p.m., step outside during First Thursdays to witness a magical performance. Watch as talented dancers perform festive holiday routines right inside the studio windows, creating a charming and unique spectacle for the whole community to enjoy from the sidewalk!

Tinsel & Spurs at the Arlington Highlands

Experience a Texas-style holiday celebration with Santa photos, snow, crafts, hot cocoa bar, face painting and a holiday movie shown on a big screen. 

The Game's Afoot: or Holmes for the Holidays

Dec. 5 – 21

Theatre Arlington presents Holiday Inn starting Dec. 5. It is December 1936, and Broadway star William Gillette, admired the world over for his leading role in the play Sherlock Holmes, has invited his fellow cast members to his Connecticut castle for the holidays. But when one of the guests is stabbed to death, Gillette assumes the persona of his beloved Holmes, to track down the killer before the next victim appears. UTA Holiday Glass Sale and Fundraiser

Old Towne Christmas Craft Fair

The much-loved Annual Olde Town Christmas Craft Fair hosted by Dottie Lynn Recreation Center is back on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Join Arlington Parks and Recreation for photos with Santa, craft stations, treats, and more as you enjoy some holiday shopping with the family. A wide variety of local vendors will offer handcrafted one-of-a-kind pieces, so you’re sure to find something you love!

Kringle Village

Dec. 6 & 7

Kringle Village is a family-friendly fun-filled experience hosted by the Dance Theatre of Arlington at Knapp Heritage Park. There will be singing elves, dancing Christmas trees, Christmas Karaoke, pictures with Santa, vendors and more!

Holiday Lights Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony

Are you ready to kick off the holiday festivities with one of Arlington’s biggest celebrations! The Holiday Lights Parade and Tree Lighting in Downtown Arlington will be Saturday, Dec. 13.

Interlochen Lights

Dec. 13

The Lights at Interlochen, one of the largest and longest running holiday traditions in North Texas, is back for the 2025 season. Each year, more than 200 homeowners in this northwest Arlington neighborhood celebrate the season by decorating their homes with festive lights and holiday-themed displays. Admission is free. The public is invited to drive through the neighborhood from 6 to 10 p.m. each night.
