Parks and Recreation Hosting Arbor Day Tree Giveaway on April 26

In celebration of Arbor Day, Arlington Parks and Recreation is hosting a tree giveaway on Friday, April 26 at the Tarrant County College Southeast Campus SE07 Pavilion. Residents are invited to pick up one free tree per household on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 11 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., or when all trees have been donated.

150 trees will be available in the following species and quantities:

• Cedar Elm (30)
• Japanese Maple (30)
• Ginkgo (30)
• Bur Oak (30)
• Mexican Buckeye (30)

The Arlington Parks and Recreation forestry staff will be on-site to assist with proper tree selection. Thank you to Bartlett Tree Experts for donating the trees for this event.
