Our partners at the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau have created a guide designed to help residents and visitors explore ways to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Culture and Heritage in The American Dream City.

Frederick Tran with the Convention & Visitors Bureau offers a variety of suggestions ranging from trying new cuisine at local restaurants to expand your palette to exploring local shops at Ben Thanh Plaza, along the International Corridor and at Asia Times Square. Residents can also visit the Vietnam War memorial, a project led by members of Arlington’s Vietnamese American community, at Veterans Park.

For those interested in exploring new dining options this month and beyond, Tran’s guide includes a list of restaurants that offer Vietnamese, Asian fusion, Thai, Chinese, Indian/Nepalese, Hawaiian, Japanese and Korean cuisine.
